The 3,452-acre Codorus State Park is in the rolling hills of southern York County. The 1,275-acre Lake Marburg has 26 miles of shoreline and is a reststop for migrating waterfowl and shorebirds. The lake is also popular with sailboaters and motorboaters. Anglers love the lake for warm water fishing and can also fish Codorus Creek for trout. Picnicking, swimming in the pool and camping are popular activities.

Great park with nice hiking and riding trails, canoe and boat rentals, a swimming pool, great fishing, countless picnicking areas with tables and grills, frisbee golf course, great bird watching opportunities with several resident nesting pairs of eagles, fakcons and hawks, and winter sport activities such as ice skating, snow sledding and shoeing and back country skiing as well as plentiful hunting opportunities in the different seasons. A really great park to visit.

Great campground! The bathrooms are clean. For those who like to swim, they have a nice pool near the campground. The lake is also nice for fishing and boating. We found an electric site that is very nice and enjoyed our stay there last time we visited the campground.
I did not give it 5 owls because there are way too many pet sites and I the leash rule does not seem to be enforced at this park. I was walking with my boyfriend and had a few dogs run up to us because they were not leashed. I don't like dogs and especially don't like them jumping up at me.
