Lake of the Ozarks State Park has a little bit of something for everyone. Crave water adventure? Lake of the Ozarks has a full complement of boating options. Want a quiet place to hike or mountain bike? The park’s thousands of wooded acres have lots of places to get away from it all, with 12 trails that wind through the park. Cabins and yurts make the park a welcome place for families looking to enjoy the lake but escape the hustle and bustle of some of the nearby towns. And Ozark Caverns – complete with its lantern-light cave tour – presents an unforgettable experience.

Lake of the Ozarks: I used to love this lake. But during the summer it's turned into a zoo in certain parts and no I'm not talking about the notorious Party...

There MUST be a kazillion reviews of the Lake elsewhere under a slightly different name because it is AWESOME, and there are only 8 reviews?!?! Anyhow....

As long as you can keep a bit of perspective then you're all good. We're not up in the Riviera this is for sure but the Ozarks are just fine for some good...

A unique experience awaits you at Lake of the Ozarks State Park with your first visit in a yurt. These fabric-covered circular structures provide the shelter of a large tent in our campground with amenities such as electricity and heating.

Tucked into the thick forest near a lake, these cabins at Lake of the Ozarks State Park do not have water or electricity but a centralized showerhouse is located nearby. Each cabin sleeps six people.

If your in the area of Lake of the Ozarks State Park, you need to check out Swinging Bridges, which has the longest swinging bridge in Missouri.
