Do you love parks and want to lend a hand? You can volunteer for one day, or make a longer commitment. Speak directly with the staff at the park at which you would like to volunteer, as there are virtually limitless opportunities to help. The success of the parks depends on volunteers protecting and enhancing them, so share your enthusiasm and bring along friends, neighbors, or anyone else you can find.

Become a parks friend. Join a Friends Group which advocates and helps raise money for parks, or volunteer your time for a trail restoration project, Earth Day event, or other conservation effort.

Join the team. Volunteers can participate in cleanups, trail works, planting flowers, leading programs, and more. Attend and help out at concerts, nature programs, art exhibits and other events at your favorite park.
