Airstream
Airstream has been green as long as it has been silver. Airstreams are designed to spend time on the road, not in the landfills. As such, nearly 70% of all Airstream trailers ever produced are still on the road! While other products are designed to wear out, Airstreams are designed to be handed down through the generations.
We also work with nature, not against it. Airstream's founder, Wally Byam, knew that a low profile and a rounded, slippery shape would make for better towing in every respect. As a result, Airstreams enjoy a 20% advantage in towing efficiency over standard "white box" trailers. And over the life of your Airstream, that's a lot of fuel saved.
And should your Airstream come to the end of its life after many decades of service, its primary components (aluminum, steel, and wood) are easily recycled.
So go ahead and enjoy your Airstream with a sense of global responsibility, and comfort in the fact that you are adventuring in one of the most environmentally friendly travel trailers in the world. And always remember that Airstreamers leave a place better than they found it. Silver is indeed Green.

Coca-Cola Enterprises Bottling Companies
The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of California, with headquarters in San Ramon, and the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Southern California, with headquarters in Los Angeles, are local bottlers focused on successfully integrating sustainability into every aspect of our operations: business, communities and environment. We aim to minimize the environmental footprint of our business. To do so, we focus on three areas: energy conservation/climate change, water stewardship and sustainable packaging/recycling.
We are working to reduce carbon emissions in our manufacturing, fleet, sales and marketing equipment, and facilities. We have hybrid electric delivery trucks on the road, three of our facilities have solar power, and we've installed energy- efficient lighting in our facilities saving millions of kilowatt hours per year. We're building the first-ever Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design-certified (LEED) facility in the Coca-Cola System in Coachella. In our production facilities, we’ve installed water saving equipment, are committed to reducing our plant water usage ratio by ten percent by 2010, and work to help protect watersheds where we operate. We are working to maximize our use of renewable, reusable and recyclable resources. We also are partnering with The Coca-Cola Company in offering an expanded range of beverages and package sizes and urging Californians to "Live Positively!"
We’re proud to be working in partnership with the California State Parks Foundation and California State Parks on the “Reforest California” and "Care for Our Coast" campaigns and Earth Day volunteer events.

Collective Wellbeing
Collective Wellbeing makes innovative, safe and effective beauty products that work as promised. Our purpose is to enhance your wellbeing and to improve the world we live in. We believe that an enterprise has a greater responsibility to its community than turning a profit. We strive to constantly reduce the impact of our operations by reducing our consumption of energy and raw materials, recycling and reusing materials whenever possible.
Collective Wellbeing is carbon-neutral enterprise. That means we determine the total carbon and greenhouse gases generated by our energy use, including energy consumed by employee travel and by deliveries of our products to retailers and consumers. We then purchase energy or offset credits from alternative energy suppliers like wind farms and solar energy generators. By doing so, we eliminate our carbon footprint.
Every year, Collective Wellbeing donates at least 1% of its revenues to environmental non-profits. We are proud to be the first beauty company to make this pledge.
We’re proud to be supporting 20% for the Parks to help protect one of our great natural resources—our country's many state parks.

Dasani
Our company is working towards a goal to return to communities and nature an amount of water equivalent to what we use in all of our beverages and their production. This means reducing the amount of water used to produce our beverages, recycling water used for manufacturing processes so it can be returned safely to the environment, and replenishing water in communities and nature through locally relevant projects. This aspirational goal will be a multi-year journey for our entire system, but is a journey we have begun and will continue to pursue. Together with our bottlers, we hope to establish a water-sustainable business on a global scale.
DASANI is taking steps to reduce its impact on the planet with a major innovation in bottle design. PlantBottle™ is made from up to 30% plant-based material that replaces some of the nonrenewable petroleum or fossil-based resources used in conventional PET plastic. Still designed to be 100% recyclable, it helps save our world’s precious resources. And PlantBottle™ is just the beginning of our quest to help design a future where every plastic bottle is made from materials that are 100% renewable as well as recyclable.

National Geographic Traveler
National Geographic Traveler is the world's most widely read travel magazine. It championed sustainable travel before it was cool and, eight times annually, celebrates journeys that are about place, experience, culture, authenticity, living like the locals, and great photography. It makes a distinction between tourism and travel, and stresses inquisitive not acquisitive trips. It employs storytelling and you-are-there photography to inspire readers to pick up and go. And, with the theme of "All Travel, All the Time," it eschews fashion and fluff in favor of articles that offer a strong sense of place, inspiring narratives that make readers take trips, and solid service information to help them plan those trips.
